i'm guessing it's the principle of the egyptian maze...always keep your left hand on the wall and youll get to your destination eventually...the guy who designed this must have awesome mythology knowledge!

I stopped after beating the boss and realizing that I'd never be able to get the ninja achievement, thanks to upgrading all my stuff as far as possible without stealing anything ;_;
